Re: Philly fans

Brought likes to attack Philly fans. Which makes sense. Everyone makes fun of Philly fans and Brought likes to jump on bandwagons. That is why he likes the Pats and Lakers. Teams that are in regions of the country that are nowhere close to his own home. In fact, I would bet Brought has never been in the same city as the stadiums of those teams, let alone gone to one of their games.

Philly fans are assholes to other teams and fans of other teams. But they are loyal fans. They stick with their teams through thick and thin. This can be contrasted with Brought who chooses teams in cities that he has never even been to, let alone live near, and just happens to pick teams that win every year. This is indisputably the worst sort of fan. You know who else picks teams they have no connection to just because they win all the time? Girls.

Philly fans also complain a lot. But lets compare that to Brought who complains nonstop about how bad his team is, how the era of their dominance is over when in fact the team is still really good and when his teams have already won lots of championships in his lifetime (of course they have, that's why he picked them).

New York fans (apparently, according to a goddamn hoofer) refer to their teams as "us." Yet Brought always refers to the Pats as "my Pats." Last time I checked he wasn't Bobby Kraft. By pure numbers, New York fans at least have a statistically higher chance of being employed by their team (such that they can "us") than Brought has over ever owning a team (such that he can say "my").

Brought complains about Philly fans but I am pretty sure he has never actually been to a Philly sports event. Why would he, he has never even gone to a game of the teams he roots for. But Bill Simmons and Deadspin and KSK tell him that Philly fans suck so he jumps on the bandwagon. That's just par for the course for Brought.
