Pembry extends his unbeaten streak against Brought

Pembry loves debating Brought.  In part because they are arch-nemeses.  But also in part because he never loses.

First, earlier this week Brought tried to debate me about the Olympics channel lineup.  I noted that that he could not get the Olympics Basketball Channel at the hotel he was staying this past weekend at and Brought tried to argue that there was no Olympics Basketball Channel and that I in fact meant NBC Sports, which my hotel got.  I pointed out that 1) there was an Olympics Basketball Channel and  and 2) few hotels get NBC Sports anyway.  Well as to the second point, I can only point out that that I have probably stayed in ten times more hotels than Brought and his argument was premised on the misconception that hotels get Comcast when in fact pretty much every single hotel chain in the world has its own channel lineup and does not use standard consumer cable services.  But that is OK because we don't even have to get to the second point because I already win on the first:

There is the Olympics Basketball channel, "the home of men's and women's basketball at the 2012 Games in London."  As you can see from the channel directly below it, it is a distinct channel from NBC Sports.  Please keep in mind I have Comcast, the same cable service as Brought.  Better luck next time old pal.

But when the debate is about factual knowledge, Brought doesn't really stand a chance.  No, Brought only really stands a chance when there is some subjective opinion involved.  Or does he?

Today, Brought claimed that Jordyn Wieber was prettier* than McKayla Maroney.

* - The debate may have used a word different than "pretty" but Weak Thrust's lawyers have advised we use this word in any published posts.

In other words...

as opposed to her:

What, is she funny?  Let's do a side by side comparison:

Well, better luck next time Brought.  One day you will beat me in a debate.  Well, probably not...
