The line to pick up passes was very long on Friday and Saturday. Most waited about two hours. But Legoland officials were doing all they could to keep guests comfortable. They were offering rides to and from guest’s cars, handing out free water and they set up as many tents and fans as they could find.
Since everyone getting a pass needs to be present (because your photo is on your pass), a kids play area was set up full of Legos.
Legoland Florida officially opens on Oct. 15, 2011. Annual passholders are invited to preview the park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 10, 12 and 13. AAA members can purchase tickets for $34.99 to preview the park on Oct. 7 or 8.
