Bret Michaels: I Taught Charlie Sheen How to Trash a Hotel Room

MSNBC: When it comes to trashing a hotel room, Charlie Sheen learned from the master — Bret Michaels!

The rocker-turned-reality star stopped by "Access Hollywood Live" on Friday, where he revealed that he helped the former “Two and a Half Men” star learn how to properly wreak havoc on a rented room.

“I professionally showed [Sheen] how to bust a hotel room. Because he wasn’t doing a good job at it first,” Michaels told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

“He was kind of learning. I said, ‘You gotta really let it out man! You gotta let it out and bust this stuff,’” he continued. The rocker said he and Sheen have been friends for years after meeting through a mutual Penthouse Pet friend. Bret also directed two films which Sheen was featured in — “A Letter from Death Row” in 1998, which Sheen had a bit part in, and “No Code of Conduct” from the same year, which starred Sheen and dad Martin Sheen.

“He showed me how to do films and make money, and I showed him out to lose a lot of money by smashing up hotel rooms,” Michaels said.

But when it comes to whether the headline-making actor is “winning” or not, Michaels isn’t sure where Sheen stands. “I know right now there’s a lot of crazy stuff going on, but he’s a great guy,” Michaels explained. “I don’t know if he’s winning or losing ... maybe he’s just spilling out what he’s going through right now.”

Adding, “There’s a lot of frustration in this business that we do, you’re under the microscope… He’s going out there and doing his thing, I don’t know if you win or lose ... He’s always been a good friend to me.”
