Monday Morning Thoughts

Ugh... you are here way too soon Monday. I really could have used one more day this weekend. Why can't you ever just wait one more day? WHY!?!?!??? Dick...

... You're welcome NFL, fans, and media. Thanks to the Patriots, you can all take the week off from Tebowmania and get some xmas shopping done. Also, I got to do something new yesterday: root for the Eagles. It maybe happens once every 2-4 years, when they play a team I hate more than them and yesterday the stars aligned. God it was nice seeing the Jets get embarrassed. Eat shit Nacho! Oh, and after putting Jimbo on the spot, I got my sweet, sweet bet money. Unfortunately I only had about 2 minutes to enjoy it before handing it over to Gap due to my loss of another bet. Good, now we're caught up on all the important NFL news...

... The WT boys and some others managed to get together for some celebrating over the weekend. It was wonderful! First we OD'd on meat, then we had some drinks, and then we played some Monopoly. The Monopoly was the best, but only because I cheated real hard. Gotta love being the banker...

... Finally finished the Harry Potter movies on Friday night, and as Jimbo and Gap know, I had a lot of questions. It was good, yes, but I still don't see the point of Harry just being an average wizard the whole time. There's a good chance he was the worst wizard of his little trio and easily worse than at least a handful of his classmates, yet he's the guy who's powerful enough to face off against Voldemort? Why didn't Rowling ever have him actually improve as a wizard and give Voldemort a proper nemesis? **SPOILER** Why did the greatest dark wizard of all time have to lose to Four-eyes McAmateur-hour? Granted, I'm asking for more of an over-arcing story-fix, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the movies. They were great fun...

... One more week till the xmas/new year holidays. This week is going to take absolutely forever. COME ON FRIDAY!
