There’s gotta be a whiff of the desperate in CampTaylor Lautner if he’s set to be in an Adam Sandler sequel.

Yep, the Twilight Saga werewolf is joining the cast of Grown Ups 2, the follow-up to the 2010 family comedy.

The young’un’s role is described as “fun” (but is he funny?), and his character is required to go toe-to-toe with Sandler’s.

Mmm...could he be playing the boyfriend of one his daughters?
