He Who Flies Under the Radar Come Out on Top

Last night’s MTV Movie Awards brought us the first trailer for the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a new movie based on a popular and acclaimed coming-of-age novel of the same name.

The movie features Emma Watson as a high school senior who, together with her stepbrother (Ezra Miller), helps a young freshman (Logan Lerman) navigate the treacherous waters of high school.

It looks kinda good and touching and fresh.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, co-starring Paul Rudd, Dylan McDermot, Nina Dobrev (TV’s The Vampire Diaries), and Mae Whitman (TV’s Parenthood), opens on Sept. 14.
