I've been pretty busy lately.
I've been busy gluing and burning myself...
I've been taking care of this handful right here....
I've been busy eating...
I've been busy riding in the trunks of cars backwards...
I've been busy drinking... fruit punch that is!
I've been busy riding in the car just about everywhere... I got my hair cut and it's SO short.
I've also been really busy cheering (bruising myself)...
So maybe when I'm not so lazy, I'll write up some craft posts!

My Olympic Faves
Okay, as an athlete myself, I LOVE the Olympics. Here are some of my favorite USA athletes:
Anyway, have a great week and hope you get to watch these athletes for at least a few minutes during your busy lives!
Missy Franklin
I don't know why but I really like her! It may be because of her appearance in a music video of Call Me Maybe. Jordyn Wieber
As a former gymnast myself, I love watching gymnastics but I especially love Jordyn since she's from Michigan too! And a town less than an hour away from me. Super exciting! I literally cried when she didn't make it to the finals. The Men's Gymnastics Team
I really just can't pick a favorite here. They're just all too beautiful. and ripped.Abby Johnston and Kelci Bryant
They're synchronized divers and you really need to give them a lot of credit! They do stuff I could NEVER do!
And last but DEFINITELY not least...
Ryan Lochte!
I think the picture says it all. He's so driven and inspirational, too. But with those looks, I'm sure a lot of people would love him either way.
Anyway, have a great week and hope you get to watch these athletes for at least a few minutes during your busy lives!

My Week in Instagram
Okay... will someone please tell me that there is an easier way to get some instagram pictures on here rather than emailing them to myself off of my phone, saving them on my computer, and then uploading them on here? UGH. It's a pain. Anyway,
I'd like to share my week (maybe 2?) in instagrams. Practically all of my pictures are of my dogs. It's a bit sad. I rarely get out of the house now because of summer... I can't wait until I have my license!
Oh gosh just go ahead and enjoy the cute ness!
She still loves her naps! We have to take her for walks every day just to calm her down. This was after a 2 mile one. She can actually do up to 4 miles... I let my mom take her on those ones.
Here's a bit of an oldie. My dad mentioned he used to put our old dog, Sniper, into his jacket when she was a puppy... I tried it out too!
And hey, life is just one big party! Here's one of my numerous cousins and Rory and of course her little dino. She won't go out and go pee by herself yet. She needs either me or her dino to go with her. True story. She can pee and hold her stuffed animals in her mouth at the same time. Hilarious stuff right there.
Here's a bit of a blurry one since it's dark. Yes that is me... and the dog... on the floor. Sometimes you just party too hard.
We took her to the vet and this dog seriously loves to scream. They gave her one shot and she cried bloody murder. She hits her paw on a chair... and screams. But she's also really good at fetch!
She's quite the little princess around here.
Anyway, I'm trying to get some projects done... we'll see how they go! My sewing machine has been spazzing out lately and I'm losing patience quickly.
I do also apologize for my absence! I've been busy doing nothing.

Little Rory is just getting so big! And might I mention that my dogs are so talented they can walk each other?

Yard Tour
My mom absolutely hates our house. I think the outside is absolutely gorgeous. The inside.... we're working on it. But seriously, this was the best place to grow up. See for yourself:
There was always a flag waving in the wind wether it was faded or fresh.
There were always vines growing on the trellace on the back of our garage. Sometimes they even grew into it.
There's always a chicken or two (more like 10) scratching for food under the shade of an old oak tree.
There's always places to explore or be alone like my place house for example.
There's bees buzzing around in their little hive.
There were birds in the various birdhouses like this one until the bottem fell out.
There were always dinners on the back patio
There were little plants sprouting out of an old barrel.
There were s'mores to be roasted and fires to be enjoyed either up on the patio or down in the real fire pit.
There were raspberries growing in our makeshift planter and birds fluttering in the leaky birdbath.
There were little paths to be walked on.
and little plants to be seen sprouting.
There were walls to be walked on
Next to where the herbs grew right next to the weeds.
There was lemonade to be sipped on the porch
and wild beasts to nibble on grass
There were trees that stopped growing long before they should have.
There were breakfasts and lunches right on the porch.
The bushes were always neatly trimmed. (just kidding I have no idea how they happened to be this nice)
There was a swing set for swinging so high we practically uprooted it.
There were little trees growing next to big ones.
This isn't even close to the whole yard. What more could a child want?

A Quick Hello
My life is currently incredibly busy. I spent 9 days in Nashville, Tennessee complete with two 9 hour roadtrips. One with my mom and sister; the other with a family friend and an incredibly well behaved 5 year old and dog. Now I'm home, safe and sound.
Our journey started out at 4:30 am. By around 8 the coffee was cold and our bellies were rumbling. Turns out finding a Starbucks in Ohio is like finding a needle in a haystack.
When we got there we got to see some sweet little cousins.
I got to take some pictures of baby Kelley. She turned 9 months old! Her mom had gotten some of those great little sticker things off of Etsy that show her age. Please enjoy the only non- iphone pictures in this whole post.
It was a consistent 105 degrees there. I'm SO happy to be back in the 90's.
I feel like everything has grown and I've been gone for so long! My little puppy, Rory, (You can find pictures of her cuteness here) has officially learned to sit and she's growing bigger!
Things have been just so busy! Good thing I fly out tomorrow for New Orleans! It'll be a bit more calm around my blog since I don't have a whole lot planned for this upcoming week.
Enjoy the Fourth of July, folks!

It was a beautiful drive, though! We passed the Kentucky River.
Yes, my friends, this is an iphone picture. What?
There were also some odd sightings like this one.
Reaching Tennessee was a very great moment, indeed. I urge everyone to not use Trip Tic from AAA. It said our drive to Nashville was only 8 hours. Nope. It's a solid 9 or 10. Where there was supposed to be an exit 208, there was not one. Thank God for iphones.
My mom also continued on to Florida with my sister. It's not a six hour drive as Trip Tic told them. It was a nine hour drive.
Nashville is seriously a beautiful city!
