Ozzy Osbourne Once Trashed Hotel Room with a Dead Shark

Winnipeg Free Press: Ozzy Osbourne once soaked a room in shark's blood while on tour with Black Sabbath.

The singer's former bandmate Tony Iommi admits at the height of the band's hellraising days Ozzy decided to go crazy with a dead shark because the group weren't excited by drugs anymore.

Tony said: "With drugs always you get bored, so you must do something to one another. Like Ozzy hauling a shark through a window, dismembering it and soaking our room in blood."

The 63-year-old guitarist - who has just released his memoirs 'Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven and Hell With Black Sabbath' which details his life with the band - now accepts his own drug use caused problems in his life, but he insists he was able to get sober without going to rehab.

He added to the New York Post newspaper: "We had management problems, I married four times. Was a lousy husband. I suddenly didn't feel good, so I stopped drugs. No rehab. I'm a country squire I live on a farm with dogs and chickens. All I want is to work. I'm dedicated to working. Listen, I've set up equipment inside an enormous dungeon in a huge castle in Wales. And worked. I felt creative."

Tony is still in regular contact with Ozzy, 62, and insists the pair are good friends.

He said: "I talk to Ozzy couple times a week. He's up, down. I love him, although his attention span lasts three seconds."

The shark incident is not the only occasion where Ozzy has misbehaved with an animal.

On 20 January 1982, he bit off the head of a bat that was thrown on stage while performing at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, Iowa, a moment that has gone down in rock 'n' roll infamy.

In 1981, an intoxicated Ozzy bit the head off a dove and spat it out during a meeting with record executives in Los Angeles. He had planned to release the doves into the air as a symbol of peace.

Whitney Houston "Goes Diva" on Delta Flight

TMZ: Whitney Houston isn't on drugs anymore ... she's just crazy -- and yesterday she almost got kicked off a Delta Airlines flight ... because she refused to buckle her seatbelt.

Multiple sources tell us ... Whitney boarded a flight in Atlanta Wednesday afternoon ... and when she settled into her seat, a crew member asked her to buckle up.

We're told Whitney refused and "got diva" on the crew member ... until another crew member came over and warned Houston that if she didn't buckle up, she would have to get off the plane.

Whitney eventually allowed one of the crew members to grab the buckle and fasten it for the singer -- and the plane was then cleared for takeoff.

Sources close to the singer tell us ... Whitney "overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie."

It's not right, but its OK ...

Tareq Salahi: Michaele Stole Bathrobes From Hotels

TMZ: Tareq Salahi is selling off millions of dollars worth of bad memories this weekend -- including his wedding ring, some priceless art ... and over 50 bathrobes that his no-good, two-timing, "groupie slut" wife allegedly stole from hotels across the world.

The laundry list of Michaele-inspired items will hit the auction block this Saturday on a website called 9021go.com -- and Tareq tells TMZ, he hopes selling it all off "will help bring closure to this ridiculous situation I am in.”

As for how Michaele amassed such an expansive collection of bathrobes -- Tareq tells us, "As soon as we arrived [at the hotels], Michaele would call housekeeping and demand a bath gown saying that there was one missing. So when we checked out we would not be charged for taking it."

Tareq adds, "Looking back I know realize this is indicative of our relationship together, full of deceit, lies ... and bathrobes."

Some other items to hit the block -- bed linen, clothes, furniture, and two original sculptures with a combined value of $3.3 million. And it's all going to benefit charity. Everybody wins!

New Zealand TV Star Apologizes for Airport Skit

WANNA-BEn's Ben Boyce
3News: It was all in the name of comedy, but today no one was laughing.

WANNA-BEn star Ben Boyce admits that he crossed the line when he suggested radio DJ Bryce Casey play a pilot and attempt to enter a restricted area in Auckland Airport’s domestic terminal.

“He doesn’t look like a pilot, he’s unshaven, he’s got tattoos, we didn’t have any ID, he just went up and said ‘I’m flying the next plane out of here’ and they pick holes through the story because he had no ID and he had no idea what gate or what flight he was on,” says Boyce.

“I think when it comes down to it, I can only point the blame at me really, I should have listened to my teachers all the way through school,” he says.

Also in on the gag was TV producer Andrew Robinson. The three appeared in Manukau District Court today charged with breaching the Civil Aviation Act. They're appearing next month but until then are not allowed to go near the airport.

“What started as something we thought was a mildly amusing skit for the show escalated into a police hunt which was never the intention, and when we heard about it, we were pretty quick to call them up and tell them it was us,” he says.

The penalty if found guilty is 12 months in prison or a $10,000 fine.

“It's irresponsible for a bunch of clowns who should know better. Quite frankly we're in the middle of hosting a Rugby World Cup and if these are people playing games, they need to grow up,” says Prime Minister John Key.

Grow up is exactly what Boyce plans to do. He says he'll be more cautious of the next skit he plans. “We're sorry that we caused alarm and we hope that people don’t get full cavity searched when they travel all thanks to us,” he says.

Mediaworks, which runs the WANNA-BEn series says despite the charges it will run the show as planned this week. But it's still unknown whether the skit in question will make it on television.

Starbucks Barista vs Alec Baldwin - Round 2

Gothamist: The bitter barista battle between Alec Baldwin and the NY Post continues! After complaining about the Post's coverage of his Tweet about an Upper West Side Starbucks barista yesterday, Baldwin found out that the Post will stop at nothing in the fight to clear a barista's good name—and that means working on a somber day.

Days after the 30 Rock star Tweeted about an "uptight barista" with an "attitude problem" at the West 93rd Street and Broadway location, the Post ran an expose, with quotes from the "uptight barista"'s coworker ("It was really just [Baldwin] being an [expletive]. He was very rude and disrespectful and arrogant. He’s probably the rudest guy I’ve ever met"). Baldwin complained about the reporter by name in a Tweet, "Today's question: What makes Helen Freund of NY Post such a sleazy, from-under-a-rock tab gnat? What drives these tab "writers?" do u care?"

(On Sunday) Baldwin Tweeted:
Well, Sutherland has covered the $12 coffee beat.

Baldwin attacked a Post photographer last year after he was released from the hospital, after his daughter called 911, apparently because Baldwin said, "I'm tired of this. I'm going to take some pills. I'm going to end this." Baldwin told cops he had been fighting with ex Kim Basinger, who made their daughter call 911.

Alec Baldwin Disses Starbucks Barista

E Online!: If Alec Baldwin really does run for mayor of New York City, he's certainly not getting one barista's vote.

The 30 Rock star venti vented his ire at a Starbucks employee—calling him out by name and the address of his workplace—after an encounter that left Baldwin espresso-ing himself in some unkind, and perhaps even homophobic, terms.

What got Alec all in a froth about his coffee?

The actor was out biking when he stopped in for a cup of joe around 1 p.m. What happened next is not yet clear, but this is what filtered out via Baldwin's Twitter page:

A phone call to Starbucks directed us to seek comment from the company's media relations department, which has not yet responded to an email request.

So E! News ventured uptown to find this Jay, but all we got were two employees claiming not to be him.

"He's not here," one barista told us. The employee just nodded his head when we asked if a lot of people had been calling for a guy named Jay. They would not confirm if Baldwin had been in earlier.

Perhaps sensing that a celebrity using his Twitter to call out a working stiff can seem like a bully or a crank, Baldwin then apparently hopped on his bike and made his way up to Harlem, where he decided to pick a "coolest" New Yorker of the day.

So E! News called Clyde, whose real name is Claudius "Clyde" Green, to ask about his encounter with the Glengarry Glen Ross standout. Green said he pointed at the actor as he cycled by and Baldwin came right over.

"I was carrying the wood for the ovens," he told E! News. "I ran over, brought him inside. I brought him the wood from outside. I showed him how we use the wood in our restaurants. He was so into the meat; he was laid-back. He was a great guy."

Clyde said the opinionated star didn't try any of his food, but he did promise he was going to make a reservation and come back for dinner soon.

"He almost threw on an apron and wanted to work," he said. "He was on his bike. He said he's gonna come back and eat. He was in a rush, but wanted to see how the food was made. He said it looked great."

Overall, Clyde gave Alec two thumbs up.

"I like all his movies. I was surprised to see him; he came right over when I pointed him out," he said. "I thought he was friendly. I didn't think he was that nice of a guy, but he is."

As for the tweet about him, Clyde called it "awesome."

And as for Jay? Take heart, and next time you can always suggest someone put that coffee down.

The Worst Celebrities in the Skies

Naomi Campbell - Worst Celebrity Flyer?
The Wrap: Actor Gerard Depardieu and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong both experienced some turbulence recently when they attempted to take flight. Depardieu, who really, really had to go, urinated on a plane, and Armstrong got bumped because his pants were just too darn saggy for one Southwest Airlines flight attendant.

Maybe they shouldn't feel too bad. The twin histories of celebrity and air travel have seen their share of famous folks experiencing flight-related troubles.

Read on for a list of high-profile problem flyers.

"Inspector Bellamy" star Gerard Depardieu proved to be quite the mile-high whiz kid last month after he unzipped and relieved his bladder during an Air France flight to Dublin. A pal of the actor's told the press that a prostate problem was to blame, and not booze. Either way, Depardieu got a pretty amusing parody video out of the situation. And Anderson Cooper got a few hearty chuckles. What a pisser.

Green Day's nasal-voiced growler Billie Joe Armstrong found one more reason to whine on Thursday, when he was removed from a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank. Armstrong's offense? Excessively droopy drawers. Maybe his next flight should be to Hot Topic, to buy himself a belt?

"Transformers" star Josh Duhamel was tossed from a New York-to-Kentucky flight last year when he refused to turn off his BlackBerry, despite numerous requests. Maybe he was texting his wife Fergie to ask why he's such a rude jackass?

"Clerks" director Kevin Smith was famously escorted from a flight last year for violating Southwest Airline's charmingly named "customers of size" policy. (Translation: he was deemed too fat to fly.) Well, you can be pretty sure he didn't get that way from the measly bags of peanuts they dole out on Southwest.

"The Tudors" star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was denied a flight from New York to Los Angeles last May, due to "belligerent" and "disorderly" behavior that was "getting out of control." (Meyers was reportedly "pounding drinks" in the first-class lounge prior to the early-morning flight.) The incident reportedly earned him a banishment from United Airlines flights. Sometimes it's not so good to be the king.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has made a fortune due to her good looks, but sometimes her behavior can be downright ugly. Case in point? A 2008 incident during which Campbell was handcuffed and removed from a flight at Heathrow Airport after allegedly abusing the plane staff and spitting on a police officer.

Christian Slater was arrested at New York's JFK Airport in 1994 after trying to board a flight while packing a piece. The "Heathers" actor reached a plea deal the following year that required him to spend three days with homeless children, presumably teaching them the finer points of gun safety.

British Airways decided to hassle the Hoff in 2009, denying flight to "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff because he was "unfit for travel." His spokesperson denied that Hasselhoff was drunk, blaming the incident on "strong antibiotics."

"Precious" star Mo'Nique was tossed off of a United Airlines flight after getting into an argument with an attendant -- over a hair dryer. The actress subsequently blamed the incident on racism. Well, that really blows.

R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck caused a ruckus during a Seattle-to-Heathrow flight in 2001 when he reportedly knocked over a meal-serving tray and attempted to stash one of the knives from the upset trolley up his sleeve, then sprayed a yogurt container all over the place while struggling with an attendant. According to testimony, when the flight's captain went to investigate the commotion, Buck told him, "you're just a f---cking captain and I'm R.E.M." Does that stand for Really Enormous Meathead?

Southwest Airlines Boots Singer Billie Joe Armstrong

Daily Mail: Billie Joe Armstrong isn't going to be flying Southwest airlines any time soon.

The Green Day frontman got kicked off of a flight on Thursday because his trousers were riding too low, showing off his pants.

The 39-year-old singer took to Twitter to express his outrage after his airline debacle after being bumped from the Oakland-to-Burbank plane. 'Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low!' he tweeted. 'What the f**k? No joke!'

Cindy Qiu, an ABC7 news producer who witnessed the calamity occur said that a flight attendant approached the pop-punk singer during takeoff and asked him to pull up his trousers. His initial response was to ask the attendant if there weren't 'better things to do than worry about [his pants]?'

When he refused to acquiesce, insisting he was just trying to get back to his seat, he and his traveling companion were given the boot. When Armstrong insisted he was just trying to get to his seat, he and a traveling companion were taken off the plane.

Southwest spokesman Brad Hawkins released a statement saying Armstrong was allowed onto the next flight to Burbank. He told a customer relations agent he had no further complaints about the Boulevard of Broken Dreams singer.

'As soon as we became aware of what had happened, we reached out to apologize for this Customer's experience," Hawkins' statement read.

At least Armstrong knows how to behave himself in the sky in comparison to other celebrities.

French actor Gerard Depardieu recently got drunk on a flight and peed in an aisle, while Minka Kelly reportedly had a meltdown when she coudln't sit with her dog on a Delta flight.

Legendary French Actor Urinates in Airline Aisle

Times of Malta: French film actor Gerard Depardieu was caught short on a Paris to Dublin flight and chose not to bother going to the toilet before relieving himself, airline CityJet told AFP.

"I will only confirm that he, in effect, urinated in the plane," a spokeswoman for the Air France-KLM subsidiary said, confirming a report on Europe 1 radio, which interviewed a passenger who witnessed the incident.

According to the passenger, who was not named, the 62-year-old was visibly inebriated and tried to stand up before take-off, when passengers are asked to wear seatbelts, declaring: "I want to piss, I want to piss."

When a stewardess asked him to sit and wait 15 minutes until the jet took off and reached cruising altitude, he said he could not wait. "And there and then he stood up and did it on the floor," she told the French broadcaster.

"We could see he had been drinking. The stewardess was dumbfounded," she added. "No-one said anything. It all happened with courtesy. Mr Depardieu sat back down and the plane returned to the parking area to be cleaned."

The spokeswoman said the incident had taken place on Tuesday evening on board flight AF5010. She did not say whether the company intended to take further action against the popular French star.

According to a Paris Airports website, the Dublin route is served by an Avro RJ-85, a regional jet that can carry up to 111 passengers and is routinely equipped with onboard toilets both fore and aft.

Depardieu is perhaps the best known face in French cinema, having appeared in almost 200 films, and is known abroad as the star of the 1990 literary epic Cyrano de Bergerac and the US romantic comedy Green Card.

He is also a winemaker and in 1990 was convicted of drunk driving.

Another Celebrity Trashes a Hotel Room

AOL Music: Chart-topper Cher Lloyd (left) has landed in hot water after she left a hotel room marked with burn marks and cigarette ash and butts. The Sun reports that staff at a five-star hotel complained to Lloyd's management after the singer left her room in an "unacceptable" condition".

A source told the newspaper: "The room looked a right state. There were fag butts and ash everywhere. It didn't look pretty at all. She got a serious dressing-down from bosses for her behaviour after management and her label had to patch things up with the hotel.

"They couldn't be too hard on her though -- she is selling records and doing well. She won't be doing it again in a hurry."

Speaking to The Sun, Lloyd -- whose debut single 'Swagger Jagger' entered the UK singles chart at No. 1 -- said that the she enjoyed a smoke, especially when she went home to visit her parents.

She said: "The first thing I do when I get home to Malvern is get in my pyjamas and have a cheeky fag with me mum in the makeshift conservatory that always leaks when it rains."

Carrlie Sheen Drops Lawsuit Over Incident at Plaza Hotel

USA Today: Court records show a judge has granted Charlie Sheen's request to dismiss a lawsuit filed against a woman who locked herself in the bathroom of an upscale New York hotel room that the actor left in tatters.

Sheen claimed Capri Anderson locked herself in the bathroom of the Plaza Hotel because she had taken one of his watches valued at $165,000. His lawsuit sought reimbursement.

Anderson told police the actor put his hands around her throat during the raucous evening in late October, but she managed to slip away.

Sheen sued Anderson for attempted extortion in November after she recounted her version of events on "Good Morning America."

Court records show Sheen's attorney were granted a dismissal of the case without prejudice on Friday, which means the actor could re-file.

Worst Celebrity Hotel Guests

Sticky fingers?
The Daily Beast has posted a slideshow of the 12 worst celebrity hotel guests. Many of the names are those you might suspect: Naomi Campbell, Amy Winehouse, Charlie Sheen...

But one name we didn’t expect to see was former President Ronald Reagan’s Secretary of State George Shultz (right). As reported in Forbes years after the trip, Shultz and other members of his party were staying at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris when they decided to take a significant number of the hotel’s luxurious monogrammed towels.

The theft only came to light later when Vice President George H.W. Bush and his staff visited the hotel, and staffers noticed their rooms were devoid of bath linens. They were then met with icy resistance when they called down to get some. Ultimately, the hotel staff begrudgingly handed over a few towels, but only after some members of the group were forced to dry off with toilet paper.

Tommy Lee: Hotel Hacker?

NewYork Post: New York Ranger Brad Richards (left)panicked when he thought someone hacked his Twitter account this week, but was relieved to learn it was just Tommy Lee having some fun.

Tampa native Richards stayed at the Tribeca Grand hotel and logged onto a computer in his room to tweet. When Lee stayed in the same room a few days later and booted up the computer, he saw Richards' account was still open and sent messages out under his handle.

"Im a dork!" the rocker tweeted along with other messages before letting Richards in on the joke. "Signing out for ya!! I'm a nice hacker!!! hey dude btw . . . it's Tommy Lee!!! hahah!!"

Richards, who had never met Lee before, told The Post's Larry Brooks: "I was worried someone hacked my Twitter account, but when I found out Tommy Lee was messing with me, it turned out to be a classic story and good lesson!"

Rosie O'Donnell Flips Out at Airport Bar

Chicagoist: In today's absurd celebrity news: Rosie O'Donnell apparently is on a one-woman crusade against underage drinking. Or, if you believe Celebslam, was trying to get some tail. According to the National Enquirer, Rosie accosted two women drinking in a bar at O'Hare. Problem? They were 24 and 27.

From the Enquirer, via Celebslam:

"O'Donnell, killing time at the O'Hare airport bar/lounge when her flight out of Chicago was delayed, took matters into her own hands when she spotted two girls ordering beers, walked up after they were served "and started lecturing them indignantly," says a source. "She carped that even though the bartender didn't card them, she wasn't letting them get away with it. She told them underage people should not be drinking - and warned them of the dangers of premature boozing." But Rosie's jaw dropped fast when the "youngsters" started giggling uncontrollably and explained they were both -- at ages 24 and 27 -- well above legal age!"

Sigh. While we can appreciate her angst (we get annoyed when we're carded and youngsters around us aren't), it's probably not the best idea to take the law into your own hands.

Governator Terminated From Theme Park Opening

E! Online: Universal Studios Theme Park in Singapore is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger a big ol' hasta la vista baby.

The scandal-plagued actor was disinvited from a scheduled appearance at the amusement park's opening festivities this weekend, a source tells E! News.

Operators at the park didn't think the former governor of California, who just revealed he fathered a 13-year-old love child with his housekeeper/mistress, Mildred Patricia Baena, was the best name they could use to promote their family-friendly venue.

So who's replacing the Terminator? And no, it's not Ashton Kutcher. No word yet on if there is an official stand-in for Schwarzenegger, although a source tells E! News that X Factor judge Paula Abdul has agreed to attend the opening along with a slew of other American stars.

"With all the complications surrounding him, they decided to dump him," said a source familiar with the negotiations that would have brought Arnold to the park's opening festivities.

Universal Studios Theme Park higher-ups told the actor not to come two days ago, on Wednesday, before he announced he would be taking a break from that planned return to acting.

Organizers for the bash had announced that Schwarzenegger and Jet Li had been scheduled to appear together at the opening, set for May 28 at the park, which features 21 rides, live shows, and the word's tallest dueling roller coaster.

"We are very excited and thrilled to have Paula as our honoree guest," Tom William, chairman of Universal Studios Singapore, tells E! News. Added a rep for the event: "Universal Studios had many big celebs to choose from, but felt Paula Abdul becoming a judge on The X Factor was exactly what they were looking for. The X Factor is very popular in Singapore, in fact one of their top shows. Paula was last in Singapore when she was on tour in the early 90s."

A rep for Universal had no official comment on the Schwarzenegger cancellation.

UPDATE: A rep for Schwarzenegger tells E! News, "The governor called Universal Studios Tuesday to say he did not want to travel to Asia because he is focused on personal matters." A studio insider confirms the rep's statement.

Spirit Airlines Capitalizes on Schwarzenegger-Shriver Split

Hollywood Reporter: Spirit Airlines, known for its controversial ads, is now poking fun at the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with a longtime staffer.

A video on its website features a house maid in a racy uniform. "Sexy maid acquired," it reads (à la Terminator). Then, a new message appears. It reads: "Fares so low, you can take the whole family! Including that half-brother you just met."

Twitter exploded Tuesday with a series of jokes after the sad news broke. "I guess all spy skills from True Lies helped Arnold Schwarzenegger keep that kid hidden from his wife," wrote one. Another person teased, "Twitter to expand to 150 characters to accommodate tweets about Schwarzenegger."

A third Tweet read: "I guess arnold schwarzenegger wasn't being honest with maria shriver. He wasn't telleing her "TRUE LIES". Padump pump tshhh!"

But the issue is hardly a laughing matter for the Schwarzenegger family. "This is a painful and heartbreaking time," Maria Shriver said in a statement Tuesday. "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

Patrick Schwarzenegger, the couple's 17-year-old son, also took to Twitter. "Some days you feel like s––, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit," he wrote, "yet i love my family till death do us apart."
