Interesting, to say the least. And not just because this victim in question is Dog the Bounty Hunter. Let's break it down shall we...

1. "...murder you and your family." Obviously a nod to the Red Dragon and his ritual of murdering, well, families.

2. "... cut the ... off your wife." A nod to Jimbo's personal favorite, Jame Gumb, as Dog's wife is a great big fat person.

3. Sodomy with beads. I hear Jodie Foster is into that sort of thing.

4. Vendetta. A specific word choice as an ode to the time Hannibal lived in Italy.

5. "Feel them blasted..." Miggsing. Need I say more?

6. "Bye Duane." The cool, calm and collected signoff of Dr. Lecter. Note he does not use Mr. Bounty Hunter's nickname, as the killer is much too sophisticated for such slang.

In conclusion... it's Thomas Harris. The guy who is going to kill Dog the Bounty Hunter is renowned author Thomas Harris.
