Two memes posts back to back?  God this blog is getting lazy.  Another fantastic new meme, this one actually appeared on Reddit a couple weeks ago but I was on vacation so lay off me!  It is pretty straight forward.

Better Know a Meme: 1990s Problems / Old Man From the 90s

Well Brought's posts of female athlete T & A are starting to encroach on my dominance of the Top blog posts.  Better do a meme post.

Today we look at two great new memes that just popped up last week on Reddit.  Both are very similar and joke about how tough life was in the 90s.  The 90s are when Gap, Brought, and I grew up and so we can really appreciate this meme.  It's a meme I feel like I get way more than most of the kids who like memes, or get in my van.

The first is a spinoff of one one of my favorite memes, First World Problems, 1990s Problems.  It is pretty popular on Reddit now and will be popular amongst the noobs when it gets on TheChive next week.

The other very similar meme is Old Man From the 90s. This meme was actually the precursor to 1990s Problems and isn't as popular but since it came first I feel like a smug hipster to act like I was following 90s memes before it was cool to follow 90s homage memes.

This isn't even creative!!!  Goddammit everyone is just taking pictures and declaring them memes.  You just took a new picture of a girl with fantastic bosoms and made the same joke that everyone has already made!  In fact if I google Eye Contact meme, I bet this exact joke was already done.

 Yes, we fucking get it!  It's hard to make eye contact because her breasts are hanging out.  Jesus H. Christ, I am so sick of these lazy memes.  That is the problem with these boilerplate image macro memes.  "Hey, I can take the Scumbag Steve picture and add an old joke to it that stopped being funny twenty years ago but it's funny now because it's a meme."

OK, that is kind of funny and I assumed this line was already used in a meme or a joke but I googled it and apparently not.  This one gets a point.

Meh.  The one above was better.

 

 

 DAT'S SEXUST!!!  OK, this thing is still a terrible meme but I guess people are doing the best they can with it.

 Lulz.  OK, this is pretty meta.  Reddit, those guys love boobs and memes! (also cats)

 Wait, is this thing going meta?  Maybe I spoke too soon about hating this meme...

 

 OK, so the original meme terrible but the backlash is at least funny.  Even shitty memes become funny when people start making fun of the memes, with the meme.  Anything that is meta is funny!

Now we are getting meta!  They took a joke from another meme and then misused it in this meme.  BUT THEY DIDN'T BECAUSE YOU CANT!  BECAUSE BOOBIES!

 Yeah, now people are getting it!

 Whoa, this just went multiple levels of meta...

 

Man this is a great meme!

 

 He is right!  I do read that line first!  What a clever meme!  And so meta!

 

 Oh man, now we are at the highest level of meta.  A lot of memes don't even get this far on the meta scale and this meme has only been around for a couple days...
