Anna Wintour Is Feeling the Glee

Looks like Anna Wintour is jumping on the Glee bandwagon.

How very several seasons ago of her....

It’s true, though, and she’ll be working with the show because of Sarah Jessica Parker, who’ll be appearing on the still-popular-right? TV show this fall.

Show creator Ryan Murphy tweet-confirmed the news when he revealed that the Vogue editrix will be designing costumes for SJP’s character.

That’s quite the score, Gleeks!

Grey Fashion

Sooo I gotta read that mommy porn book o.k.a. Fifty Shades of Grey.

The best seller’s influenced is being felt everywhere, especially now that Hollywood is prepping a movie based on E L James’ titillating tome, and the includes the world of fashion.

Andrew Marc has jumped on the Fifty Shades of Grey bandwagon and will be advertising its Marc New York shingle for the first time this fall in a campaign inspired by the book and featuring 2008 Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza and former Scottish rugby player Thom Evans, who looks hella happy in that towel.

I approve.

GaGa Smell

Madonna is doing it, so Lady GaGa is doing it.

Yup, the singer is throwing herself into the fragrance game with a scent named, appropriately enough, Fame, which comes in an egg-shaped bottle and will be available for pre-order on July 26 (it arrives in stores next month).

The campaign was shot by Steven Klein, whom, remember, La GaGa poached for her “Alejandro” video.

I wonder what the Queen has to say about this friendship. I bet she just thinks it’s derivative...or plain ol’ “reductive.”

Anyway, Klein also directed the commercial for the perfume. Btw, that clip will feature a special Lady GaGa song, so look it up when it comes out.

Classic American with an Aussie Flair

Chris Hemsworth is so hot.

Yeah – I’ve got nothing else....

The Aussie is in the latest issue of GQ modeling oh-so-American T-shirts, looking hella fine and ripped and whatnot, but it is his picture in full denim that I found the sexiest, so I thought I’d share.

I love staring at as much skin as he’s willing to reveal, but I think leaving it to the imagination is so sexy, too.

Oliver Stone’s Savages had its world premiere in L.A. last night, and, my oh my, did one of the film star’s, Blake Lively, looks stunning as she gave a major fashion moment out on the red carpet.

Seriously, girl – I’m more of a Kitsch Kraver, but you are seriously making it jiggle in that Zuhair Murad dress and those old-Hollywood golden tresses of yours.

The Twilight Saga star/fledgling fashion force is going topless in most of a new clip promoting Dylan George and Abbot + Main’s California Dreaming fall line (Abbot + Main is Lutz’s line, btw).

That is some effective marketing at work, people: beaches, abs, lovely and inviting water, abs, sunshine, abs....

The Look of MDNA

Madonna, my Queen, is kicking off her new tour in Tel Aviv tonight – click here if you wanna know what she’s performing.

And this being an M concert, you know fashion is going to play a big role during the show.

So take a gander at some of the looks the one and only will be rocking on stage. They include pieces from longtime collaborators like Jean Paul Gaultier (pictured at right), as well as Prada and Miu Miu and Alexander Wang.

Gaultier clearly knows what suits M, huh. I mean, this look is classic Madonna, yet fantastically modern. Loves it.

Pitt No. 5

Brad Pitt is such a pretty face – we know it, the world knows it...and, evidently, so does Chanel.

The venerable fashion house has made him the newest (and handsomest) spokesmodel for the iconic Chanel No. 5 perfume, a gig that is reportedly netting him somewhere in the seven figures.

Well that’s silly: Chanel No. 5 is for girls, not boys.

No matter – the folks at Chanel know what women want, and that’s a healthy serving of still-hot Pitt.

This is the actor’s first job as a beauty spokesmodel (although you could argue that he’s been serving as the face of gorge for like, forever) and also the first time a man has promoted the women’s scent since it was launched way back when in the 1920s.

He is said to be shooting his first campaign in London this week, so you can expect to see those photos later this year.

F---in’ Tom Brady, man.

Not only is he like, an amazing QB and married to Gisele Bündchen, the guy can pull off just about any gosh darn haircut and make midnight blue velvet for spring an absolute must.

The guy turned heads at the 2012 Met Gala last night while rocking a slick semi-fohawk that slanted right and did him all kinds of favors and a gorge tom Ford evening jacket, black tux pants, and a sweet grosgrain bowtie.

I get it – you’re H-O-T. Now...keep it up.

Spring has sprung, so it’s time for a new wardrobe...or, at least, it’s about darn high time to look at what’s out there.

We’re living in a budget world, after all.

GQ recently recruited that cutie-patootie emeritus Ewan McGregor to model the latest styles, and I’ve just been waiting for the right time to share that visual goodness with ya.

I’m a giver, whaddya want.

Oh, and you know what these TETs (i.e., tough economic times) do allow and call for?

A trip to the movies. I’m so gon’ go see McGregor’s latest offering, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen – it co-stars Emily Blunt...and it looks beyond-charming.

Guess Who Still Has It

Thirty years ago, Guess was born.

Seven years into its history, the once-beyond-It jeans company hired a beautiful German girl by the name of Claudia Schiffer to be its Guess Girl from 1989 to 1991.

Now, 23 years later, La Schiffer’s back in Guess, and she’s still looking smokin’.

Paul Marciano, the company’s CEO and creative director, recognizes that Guess and Schiffer marked turning points for each other, so he made the latest shoot a family affair, recruiting original-campaign photographer Ellen Von Unwerth to capture the model once again.

Ain’t that nice.

The new collection, which Schiffer and other Guess Girls helped inspired, will arrive in Guess stores and Bloomingdale’s on April 19.

Here’s to hoping this is just the beginning of a slew of new campaigns for one of the original supermodels: I enjoy her.

Lindsay Lohan has gotten herself a new job, and this time she didn’t have to bare it all.

L2 is the new face and body of Jag Jeans.

Photographer Yu Tsai shot the campaign, which is way more flattering to Lohan (and her what’s left of her so-called career at this point) than her Playboy layout.

Yeah, I’ve never heard of ’em, either, but I’m just not their demo.
